Novers Hill

Novers Hill map pin

There is potential for around 50 homes on previously developed brownfield land at Novers Hill - on the site of a former school on Belstone Walk.

In 2023, we launched a design competition in partnership with Bristol Housing Festival, and worked alongside local residents to find the right Bristol or West of England-based SME architect to transform this site. We were looking for proposals that can deliver much needed affordable homes and are sensitive to the ecological importance of the adjacent Western Slopes.

We aim to select a partner and submit a full planning application to the Local Planning Authority to enable the delivery of this project, as soon as possible.

Building sustainable communities

Goram Homes always aspires to exceed planning policy in terms of delivery of affordable homes. Across our current programme we have a target of delivering 47% of our homes as affordable homes as outlined in our Business Plan.

Our developments will include homes of different sizes for market sale, social rent and affordable home ownership.

The number of affordable homes and the tenure split shown in the graph reflects our Business Plan and has been estimated based on initial capacity studies and policy requirements. We will update all figures annually, in line with business planning, or when planning has been granted.
