SS Great Britain Car Park

Status: on our pipeline. Bristol City Council has earmarked this site for development by Goram Homes. It's still in council ownership and no planning permission has been applied for or granted yet. A pre-application enquiry has been submitted.
Location: Hotwells and Harbourside, Bristol

The site is currently an operational car park that generates a revenue and is subject to a lease with the SS Great Britain Trust. Any development proposals will involve the reallocation of the existing parking with a residential development above. We will work with the SS Great Britain Trust to understand their aspirations for the site, and will work with surrounding businesses and residents as plans progress.

Goram Homes always aspires to exceed planning policy in terms of delivery of affordable homes.

Our developments will include homes of different sizes for market sale, social rent and affordable home ownership.

The number of affordable homes and the tenure split shown in the graph has been estimated based on initial capacity studies and policy requirements. We update all figures annually, in line with business planning, or when planning has been granted.
