Our development of 166 new homes at Baltic Wharf has taken a significant step forward following a £2.4m government grant to Bristol City Council.

The council announced on Friday 19th September that it would not be taking the affordable homes at Baltic Wharf or Phase 1B of Hengrove Park, but these affordable homes for social rent and shared ownership will still be built.

Bristol City Council has appointed Cllr David Wilcox as council representative on the Board of its wholly owned housing company, Goram Homes.

We’ve started preparing ground for 140 new homes at the former Bristol City Council highways depot site at Dovercourt Road in Lockleaze. Half will be affordable housing.

In a big election week for the country, school children from three schools in Hengrove made their votes count too – choosing new street names for a brand-new neighbourhood in their community.

The landmark Hengrove Park development has taken an important step forward as detailed plans have been approved for phase one of the 1,435-home development.

Councillors have unanimously granted full planning permission for Baltic Wharf, which will see us develop 166 new homes on Bristol’s Harbourside with partners the Hill Group.
