Goram Homes Launches Design Competition for Redcliffe Way

Following the success of their first design competition which asked for big, bold ideas for their Castle Park Energy Centre site, Goram Homes and Bristol Housing Festival have launched their second design competition for the Portwall Lane Car Park, Redcliffe Way, situated to the north of St. Mary Redcliffe Church.

The Redcliffe Neighbourhood Forum have a longstanding plan for the regeneration of this area, and we believe this site is the first piece of the puzzle. We are looking for inspiring and inclusive proposals for a mixed-use, residential led scheme but are also open to exciting ideas for the surrounding area, which would consider a reimagined vision for Redcliffe Way as a whole.

Our ambition is for this site to be an exemplar of sustainability and biodiversity while helping the city to meet its housing needs by including 40% affordable housing.
